I started Couture Cult in April of 2007. It was my first “real blog” and I had absolutely no clue about blogging. I did however, have a passion for all things fashion. Before venturing into the social media sphere, I worked in the fashion industry for 12 years. I’ve worn the hat of Buyer, Production Manager for a private label line of event dresses, selectively repped indie lines, and have worked closely with boutique owners who specialize in unique and special finds, high quality, and vintage merchandise. When I stopped working in fashion I found myself craving an outlet. Somewhere to share the things I love and my ideas about what the designers are up to.
With the recent redesign and move to Wordpress, I have added a few more categories to the blog. Aside from covering fashion, Couture Cult now has Beauty, Design, and Decor sections and a lovely stream of inspirational images found from around the web. I think writing about all things Lifestyle will add even more fun into the mix for me and for you as well!
