A Few Words About The New FTC Guidelines

I wanted to take a few moments to talk with you about the new FTC Guidelines and what they mean for Couture Cult.

I have always been an advocate of authenticity and transparency. In general, if you are an honest blogger with the best of intentions you won’t find yourself having to make too many changes because of these new guidelines. If a sample has been provided for a product I review, I have always stated so and will continue to. Additionally, the “Products I Actually Use” posts are always truly products I use and are endorsements I am making without any incentives: other than to share some great finds with you all!

Throughout the site you see banner ads for companies like French Connection and American Apparel. Some ads you see are affiliate ads, and I earn a commission on purchases you make. Others pay directly for placement on the site. However I have full control over the brands who advertise here on Couture Cult and always choose brands that I actually appreciate myself: which is why I believe it will be profitable to share them with you!

If there are ever any questions, you are always welcome to contact me.

xoxo
