❥❥ Trendspotting:

❥ Cutouts: Shakira and Rihanna rocked cutout motif’s in their red carpet looks for the American Music Awards this year.

❥ Sequins: Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis, Keri Hilson, and Fergie shined in sequins. Strapless, short, and sexy with a hint of 80′s still going strong.

❥ Booties: Leona Lewis and Keri Hilson both rocked booties. I like them on Keri Hilson, but Leona’s were a little too clunky looking for my tastes.

❥ Pompadours: Hair styles both on the red carpet and on stage were reminiscent of the pompadour style of the early 20th century.
