❥ New Gucci App Sets the Standard for Luxury Brands
October 21st, 2009 | Published in Fashion
Gucci just released their new “luxury lifestyle application” for the iPhone offering creative and interactive ways to experience Gucci rather than just observe.
➡ Why it’s cool:
Fashion and music have always had a special relationship, feeding off of each other for inspiration. Gucci incorporates music into their app in a few really exciting ways.
• Gucci Beats: Mark Ronson produced an array of loops, beats, drums, and vocals for you to mix your own tracks, save them, and then share them with your friends via Facebook.
• Gucci Music Channel: Creative Director Frida Giannini & Mark Ronson compiled 3 hours of continuous music and share exclusive playlists only available on the app.
➡ As a resource:
Living a lifestyle is about more than just the clothes you wear…
• The Little Black Book: Enter a city into the app and browse an index of restraunts, clubs, bars, and hotels that have been hand selected by Frida Giannini, who features her personal favorites.
• Keep your fingers on the pulse: Get exclusive access to limited edition Gucci merchandise and be notified first when new products are released. Stay up to date on what is coming up next for Gucci with previews of new collections.
As both a lover of fashion and a social media maven I am thoroughly impressed.
And yes, it’s free.
