This weekend New York Post’s Page Six reported that Lindsay Lohan was consulting for Emanuel Ungaro as an unpaid internship. Her travel expenses and accommodations were her own responsibility, and thus far the only compensation that Lohan has received has been in the form of clothes.

I’m not really surprised to hear this. Though Lindsay has always been a favorite fashionista here at Couture Cult, her career has seemed to take a nose dive in the past couple of years. Lindsay’s line of leggings, her first attempt to dip a toe into the fashion realm, proved to be not much more than a passing fad.

To be fair, though, for Lindsay to accept this position without the big pay day does show a want to learn. Or maybe just a want to keep her name on our lips? I’m really not sure.
