The Grammy Awards… my favorite! I think musicians have a lot more fun with fashion and take more risks than actors do in general when it comes to what they wear. Actor’s show more refinement and elegance, but musicians define cool. Maybe it’s different for me, who makes music, but I get teary eyes about 1,000 times watching the Grammy’s. As far as fashion and pure entertainment value, this was the climax of the awards season.

Janelle Monáe: Urban artist Janelle Monáe went in an unexpected direction wearing this highly tailored tuxedo style jacket over a romantic blouse.

Leona Lewis

Adele: One of my favorite new artists this year… I love the color of her jacket against the color of her hair. PS: When she won, the eyes tearing up thing… the tears spilled over. Best New Artist!

Taylor Swift: Taylor looks gorgeous and mature in this all black number, and her makeup is flawless. I especially love the earrings she is wearing.

Carrie Underwood

Katy Perry: The dress! The dress is amazing, by Basil Soda. I don’t really care for her hair or her makeup, though.
