She just might be the youngest Featured Fashionista yet, at just 14 years old, but I love how gracefully this child-star is evolving into herself as a young lady. As child actors go, Dakota Fanning established herself as a real talent taking on dark and weighty roles, and delivering every line with such truth and insight that it’s almost like there is a grown woman inside of her. I can’t wait to see her in Push, which comes out this Friday the 6th, where she plays Cassie… a bratty teenager with the ability to catch glimpses of the future. With so few actresses her age that have a substantial talent, she is a sure contender looking into the future.

Here she is at the premiere for The Secret Life of Bees. I think she looks adorable here. She looks perfectly age appropriate in a fun dress with applique’s on the bodice and a bubble skirt. And the purple shoes are fun, lightening up the black of the dress.

What I like about this picture of her at the premiere for Hounddog, is the makeup. Just enough to add a little bit of a glow but not layers of it ageing her, like most young actors and performers tend to do in these times. She just looks… pretty.

I love this shade of blue on a blonde! Dakota is just darling at the People’s Choice Awards this year. I love her hair here. She really is going from cute to quite naturally beautiful.
