The SAG Awards is one of my favorites out of the award season. It’s a show that the actors all seem to really feel privileged to be a part of. Being honored by your own peers is a different kind of satisfaction. “It’s more for us than for them.”

That reveals itself, also, in the fashion we see. Though some of the trends we have seen so far this season have appeared again tonight (strapless and asymmetrical tops, draping skirts), we see a little more self expression on the red carpet at the SAG’s.

A fun fact: Meryl Streep won Best Actress, and wore pants! “But I didn’t even buy a dress!”, she joked.
