As far back as July of last year, there was a rumbling of gossip that Chanel was considering the lovely Emma Watson to take over for Kiera Knightly, who has been the face of the design house since 2006, but whose contract is due to expire this summer. Chanel has been dressing the child star turned starlet for at least as long, and has finally made it official.

The young woman, who already has “enough money never to have to work again” (estimated worth of about $16 million), will be adding a meager $6 million dollars to her assets. AND she is signed up for the next 2 Potter movies. Um, damn. Good for you, love!
