I Am Obsessed With Chloe’s Spring 2008 Ready To Wear Collection!!!

I’m majorly loving how much more modern, hip, and yet classically Chloe the ready to wear line looks moving in to Spring. The color palette of grey, black, white, light pink, varying shades of teal, a hint of plum, navy… is unexpected, appealing, refreshing, and fun to wear. The light, sheer fabrics allow for the layers we love about Fall to carry over into Spring, and the hints of jewel tones means we can keep using some fall bags and shoes, since jewel tones and grey have been so hot this season. But I cant get enough of the way designer Paulo Melim Andersson has made this color concept seem fresh and new.
Some of my favorite aspects:
The sheer pant, that’s more loose than a legging, and yet more fitted than a classic silhouette…

Even the hint of a less sheer pair under this long dress, is a beautiful touch. And I love the way the black tunic makes the colors of the dress pop.
The graphics of the fabrics, and use of textures are simply adorable and sophisticated at the same time. Spring isn’t about the matchy-matchy look. There truly IS a difference between matching and coordinating, and thats what Spring is all about achieving.

The outfit I most want to wear tomorrow, from head to toe:
